Born in Rome in 1966, Sampaolo is an experimental Italian artist whose practice moves freely between painting, performance, installation and contemporary visual culture. His early influence from sculptor Carlo Lorenzetti shaped his fascination with expressive lines and vibrant colour — a language that continues to define his work.
His artistic journey has taken him from Rome to the international art scene, including exhibitions and collaborations across Miami, New York and Buenos Aires, as well as participation in major art fairs such as Art Miami. In 2021, he created “BIGGAIS,” a monumental 400 m² graffiti artwork for SLAMP, further expanding his exploration of colour, scale and urban expression.
Today, Sampaolo’s work is defined by an energetic dialogue between colour, abstraction and contemporary creativity.
