HMA Living by Al Shamsi was present at Downtown Design 2025, marking an important moment for our team and a proud reflection of the Al Shamsi family’s long-standing credibility and contribution to the UAE. With a legacy built on trust and craftsmanship, we showcased our vision for thoughtful, refined, Italian living.
This year, we also unveiled our new identity When Home Becomes Art, a philosophy that reflects our commitment to elevating interiors through elegance, intention, and emotional depth. Throughout the fair, we connected with architects, designers, developers, creatives, and design enthusiasts who share a passion for meaningful interior experiences.
Our showcase featured MisuraEmme, represented by its owners Mr. Ottaviano Borgonovo and Mr. Cristiano Borgonovo, celebrating the brand’s heritage of Italian craftsmanship, modular precision, and timeless luxury.
The Forum, Downtown Design 2025
A highlight of the week was the presence of Dr. Luca Mazza, Design Director and Head of the Lighting Division at HMA Living, who spoke at the Downtown Design Forum alongside esteemed voices from the global design community. The talk titled “The Feel of Space: Wellbeing Through Design” featured
Nico Yiannikkou (1508 London), Dunia Khaleel (ALDAR), and Kristina O. Bråteng (B8 Architecture).
The session was moderated by Aneesha Rai, Editor of identity magazine.
Their conversation explored how design influences emotion, perception, wellbeing, and the human experience. Dr. Luca’s participation reinforced the depth, expertise, and design integrity that HMA Living brings to the region.
